Every lunch hour at YAP we're offering food for the making and the eating! This is part of our new Healthy Options program for youth aged 16-24. The program helps connect YOUth with healthy food options and health programming and outreach like physical fitness, grocery shopping/cooking skills, and medical outreach (ie. getting prescriptions, finding a doctor, alternative medicine, etc).
If you're interested in any of the Healthy Options programming, just check us out here on this website, or by coming down to YAP (or calling us at 565-4127.

We just got back from our first leg of the trip in Toronto!! Here's a picture of youth from PG, Aiyansh, and Toronto with the boat tour guides!!

On Thursday Lennise took youth to the Horse Rescue! They had lunch and got to meet horses and have an orientation to the program! If you want to go next week it's every Thursday from 1-4pm. Call Lennise in ACCESS at 565-4127 if you have questions or want to go!

Join us this Saturday, June 20th at YAP for our YMCA Youth Garage Sale!! From 8:30-2pm we're going to be selling second-hand treasures to raise money for our upcoming youth exchange to Toronto and New Aiyansh!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Rock the Vote! Ali from You Can Go! did a wonderful job of pulling all the bands together. A huge thanks goes out to the Prince George Native Friendship Centre for bringing food and for Future Cents for helping run the show! The results from our mock vote will be announced live as part of Student Vote BC 2009 on Election night on CBC Television! Don't forget to get out and vote on election day, this Tuesday!
